Amitayus Long Life Retreat
Half-day Retreat with Kadam Morten
Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, merit and wisdom – the main qualities we need for the happiness of enlightenment. The beginning of February marks a special time when Kadampa centers around the world emphasize the practice of Buddha Amitayus, the Buddha of Long life, wisdom and merit. Spending time in retreat at this time is considered very auspicious for what the rest of the year will bring. Join us for this wonderful opportunity to strengthen your connection with the long-life Buddha. We will also be making special dedications for the long life of our Founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
For those attending in person, you are welcome to bring an offering of food or drink. For those attending online, you may make a donation towards offerings if you wish.
