How to Be Happy in "Unhappy" Times

This class is offered in-person only

Is it possible to be happy when our world is overrun with so much pain, injustice, sickness, poverty? Yes. It is not only possible, it is essential. According to Buddha, we cannot uproot the causes of the world’s dilemmas until we have uprooted out own negative minds and ripened our potential for authentic and stable happiness. If we are to help others activate their potential we first need to activate our own.

In this series of talks and guided meditations, we will learn how we can tap into peaceful and positive minds and maintain that experience all the time. In particular, we will learn how we can even transform painful experiences into minds that increase our inner peace and happiness. Of course, this requires training. But what better thing to train in, for ourself, our relationships, and our world?

Each class is self-contained and is also presented as part of a series over 5-6 weeks. Drop into any class you like
