Meditation is about understanding and transforming our mind, shifting our mental positioning from negative states of mind to positive ones that cause true happiness. Through meditation we discover that the mind is open, light, the very nature of peace and joy, and infinitely flexible. This discovery opens us up to a whole new perspective: We discover we can change. We can heal. We can flourish from within and be a source of light for others. Meditation in Queens provides in-person modern Buddhist Meditation classes to the neighborhoods of Flushing, Jackson Heights, Sunnyside, Long Island City and Astoria through pop-ups and regular weekly class offerings.
