Queens Buddhist Meditation Class
Blue Sky Mind: We Are Unlimited
Thursdays beginning September 5, 6:30 - 7:30pm
$10 per class, free for supporting members
At our heart there is a doorway to an infinity of peace, joy and lightness, our blue sky mind. Buddha taught that our root mind is like the boundless, clear blue sky. And our thoughts, feelings and all of our appearances are like clouds. We can often get lost and stuck in the dark and sometimes stormy clouds of our mind and rarely identify with our vast, blue sky like mind. In this series, we learn to reverse the script by training to relate to our thoughts in a different way and thereby experience mental freedom. In the process we gain meditative insights into the true nature and wondrous power of our mind. Insights which in turn help us craft positive views and determinations to transform our life and flourish from within.

Our general program classes include Dharma teachings along with guided meditations
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners
General meditation classes are given as a series, but can also be taken individually
Please bring a government issued photo ID to check in at the Lobby.
No special clothing is required
