The Human Condition – Finding Solutions within the Middling Scope of the Stages of the Path
This class is offered in person only
$10 per class, free for supporting members
When we think about renouncing something it often feels as if we’re being asked to give up things that we actually like and enjoy. It can feel punitive. In Buddhism, renunciation is a joyful practice of giving up things that are actually harming us. Radically, Buddha pointed out that one of our most harmful activities is our desirous attachment. In this next nine-week series we explore this idea of renunciation as self-compassion.
