From the moment you wake up in the morning to the moment you go to sleep at night, you have one thing you want to do above all else. That thing is: to help all living beings find the supreme joy of enlightenment. In order to pull this off, you yourself need to attain enlightenment as well.
Question: Who and what are you?
You are a bodhisattva – a friend to the world – bound for enlightenment for the benefit of all living beings without exception. In this 1/2 day course, visiting teacher Gen Samten Kelsang – the resident teacher of the World Peace Temple a few hours north of the city – will share with us some of the hallmarks of the Bodhisattva’s way of living. The path of a Bodhisattva is steeped in joy, steeped in compassion and steeped in deep meaning. The world needs more Bodhisattvas. When? Now!
Everyone welcome.
