New Series: How to Live the (Actual) Good Life
Offered online (for members only) and in-person (for everyone)
$15 per class, free for supporting members
Live only - no replays
‘Living the good life’ is an expression sometimes used to refer to when we are experiencing seemingly luxurious enjoyments. But is that an actual good life? At best such enjoyments are short-term. They do not deliver the long-term happiness we all long for.
Actual goodness, a good heart, is something we all naturally have: peace, kindness, compassion, love. Through the practice of meditation and training the mind we learn to access that natural good heart and to shine it out, so that its peace, joy, and love is reflected in every aspect of our life.
In this series we will learn how to access that good heart and nurture it towards what we call the ‘supreme good heart’, which is the beautiful mindset that characterizes a Bodhisattva. Nurturing our good heart in this way is the actual good life. It is the very best thing we can do both for ourselves and for others.
Everyone welcome.
