The kindest thing we can do for ourselves and others in 2024 is to cultivate our own inner coolness habit. What this means is simply that we already possess our best self. It’s there in our own mind. Unfortunately, our mind can also be our worst enemy. Right? How wonderful it would be if we were to always relate to ourselves and our world in the way that naturally allows happiness and joy to arise from within.
Buddha showed that by skillfully cultivating the habit of positive thinking, we can engage in a light and relaxed way that not only affords us a rich sense of well-being, but also brings a joyful energy to all our relationships and interactions. All we need to do is bring out our inner cool.
