Meditations that Lead to Enlightenment - Understanding and Transcending Suffering
Although the holidays are meant to be a time of joy, they unfortunately can also cause us to feel overwhelmed. Expectations and stressors run high and we experience suffering. Fortunately, whether it is our daily life worries and upsets, or our deeper grief, depression all our sufferings can be transformed into empowering states of mind that increase our inner strength, love and joy. In Buddha’s Intermediate Scope teachings, we learn the source of our suffering correctly and the fact that there is a sure solution, the removal of that source! We develop a deep wish to be free, combined with the wisdom of how to go about it. We discover our potential for real and lasting joy--the perfect gift!
December 2: Why We Suffer and How to Be Free
