Six Practices to Transform Our Life
This class is offered in person only
$15 per class, free for supporting members
“Remain natural while changing your aspiration.”
This encouragement given by the great Buddhist teacher Chekhawa over a thousand years ago explains that the path to creating the most meaningful and joyful life does not have to involve making external changes in job or lifestyle. It simply involves making a shift in our intention.
In this series we will look at developing and maintaining this shift, directing our wish to achieve our highest potential, enlightenment, out of love and compassion for every single living being without exception. As we develop this wish we enter into the beautiful path of the Bodhisattva, a being bound for Enlightenment for the benefit of all.
In particular we will look at the six main practices of the Bodhisattva, known as the Six Perfections. Integrating these six practices into our daily activities enables us to transform every facet of our life, our job, our relationships and so on, into our spiritual training.
Through talks, guided meditations, and discussions, Kadam Morten and other senior teachers will open us up to the extraordinary possibilities for living the very best life, for both ourself and others.
This course will be the perfect primer for our special Bodhisattva Ceremony on October 5 with which we will celebrate our 30 year anniversary.

The Karma Code
Discover the Secret to Creating Happiness
Understanding karma is a profound catalyst for transforming our lives and our futures, especially when we see how it ties in with the dream-like nature of our reality. In this four-week Sunday series, we’ll have a chance to explore the inner law of cause and effect that shapes all of our experiences, learning how to align our thoughts, words, and actions with our deepest aspirations for happiness and freedom.
We will also explore how it is that we create our world with our intentions or karma, and how our reality does not exist from its own side but is mere karmic appearance of mind. Whether you’re new to these timeless Buddhist principles, or seeking to learn more, please join us.
