The Amazing Meditation for Healing Body and Mind
Offered online (for members only) and in-person (for everyone)
$15 per class, free for supporting members
Live only - no replays
The meditation known as Taking and Giving, in Tibetan “tonglen”, has been used for centuries as a healing meditation. Not only is this meditation legendary for its physical healing properties, it is also a powerful method for healing painful mental tendencies such as insecurity, anger and hurt. Taking and Giving practice gives rise to innumerable benefits, including boosting positive energy, purifying the mind and in particular enabling us to deal skillfully and peacefully with our daily challenges.
Kadam Morten will introduce us to this amazing practice – which is quite simple and can be practiced by anyone – and then in the ensuing 5-week series, take us deeper and deeper into this beautiful and life-enhancing method.
Everyone welcome

Transforming Difficult Times into Inner Strength
Sign up for the Special Event & 5-Week Series for $65, Saving $25
When we experience stress and tension in our lives, it’s easy to feel emotionally overwhelmed or powerless; but it doesn't have to be that way! All of us have inner reservoirs of peace, wisdom, and sanity waiting to be discovered. In particular, we can learn to roll with life’s punches and make peace with adversity, essential skills in a world where we cannot always control what happens, whether that’s with personal struggles or the uncertain times we live in. Our real power lies in how we respond and show up for others.
Join us for our January Special Event with guest teacher Kadam Lucy James, followed by a five-week series. With a few simple time-honored and wise Buddhist teachings, you’ll discover how to stop sweating the small stuff—or the big stuff—and embrace life with more openness, flexibility, and lightness of touch.
