The understanding of the continuity of consciousness is a fascinating and much misunderstood topic within Buddhist thought. Contemplating the possibility of the mind continuing after the body passes away is challenging for many of us who have been raised to accept the assumption that the body and the mind are inseparable, but this contemplation can also be profoundly thought-provoking as well as eye-opening.
If we develop even a basic openness to this idea, an acknowledgment of the possibility of past and future lives, extraordinary new horizons take shape within our lives. In this half day course, Kadam Matthew will guide us in special meditations that encourage us to abide in peace and positivity in the here and now, and thereby creating a blissful future.
