The Joys of Gratitude

A Holiday Meditation

When we are able to pause a moment and reflect on the plentitude of our good fortune, whether it is it our friends and family and other meaningful relationships, the relative comforts of our living situations, the deep beauty of our natural environment . . . and especially our capacity to engage with all of these wonderful conditions, this is gratitude. Combining this feeling with the sheer joy of opening our hearts to others – or even simply giving thanks for the people and circumstances in our life – is a powerful way to bring us into alignment with deep meaning in our lives. The holidays offer us a collective opportunity to connect with our own best selves. Please join us for a special holiday meditation combining two of the most open-hearted contemplations in all of Buddhism: Giving & Gratitude.
