One of our most destructive delusions is anger. The reason we get angry is that we allow our mind to remain on an object that is likely to stimulate anger. If we catch our mind as soon as it starts to focus on such an object it is quite easy to prevent anger from arising and to channel our thoughts in a more constructive direction.
