Free for supporting members. Non-members: $25 for the course, $20 for the retreat or $35 for the course and retreat when purchased together.

We all wish for good relationships in our lives, but relationships between couples, parents and children, or friends often suffer from misunderstandings and unrealistic expectations. We love each other, and yet we are not always happy together. This is because we do not understand the real nature of love and how to practically improve our love in our close relationships.

During a half-day course on Saturday, February 9, followed by a half-day retreat on Saturday February 16, we will​ explore Buddha’s simple and practical advice for finding meaning and enjoyment in all of ​our relationships. By keeping this timeless advice in our hearts, we will learn to be happy in the company of our ​partner, ​family, friends and co-workers — anyone we might encounter.


*It is recommended that you attend the course in its entirety. Per-session registration is not available online, but walk-ins are welcome for those who cannot attend both sessions (Course sessions are $15 each, retreat sessions are $12 each).

Located in the heart of Chelsea, Kadampa Meditation Center NYC provides meditation classes and teachings throughout NYC and the greater New York area.


We offer evening meditation classes on MondaysTuesdaysWednesdaysThursdays, and Fridays, and morning meditation classes on Tuesdays and Sundays that are suitable for newcomers.
