New Series: Meditation on Death is the Ultimate Life Saver

We’re all going to die. We might not know how, when or where but we know for certain it will come…for all of us.

Even though death is as natural as life itself, we do everything we can to keep it from view.

In doing so we rob ourselves of one of the most powerful energizing forces for making our life meaningful.

In this series, using the wisdom shared by Buddha, we’re going to look death squarely in the face.

We’re going to explore what happens when we die and why this transition is profoundly meaningful for our future.

We’ll also explore how we can begin living our life in such a way that we are naturally preparing to die.

This series will be a wake up call! An encouragement for all of us to seize the day and take the essence of our precious human life.

Worrier to Warrior

When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem. But, according to Buddha, whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind.

By reacting to the inevitable challenges and stresses of life with an anxious or negative mind we not only make matters worse, but also get stuck in a victim mentality - relating to ourself as a 'worrier' we can't handle it, rather than a 'warrior' who can.

Through Buddhist meditation and wisdom we can flip the script and learn how to respond to difficulties with a peaceful or positive mind instead - skilfully letting go of stress and anxiety, and even transforming them into opportunities for growth and development.

Our general program classes include Dharma teachings along with guided meditations
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners
General meditation classes are given as a series, but can also be taken individually
No special clothing is required
No pre-registration is necessary
