The Power of Becoming Peaceful
This class is offered in person only
$10 per class, free for supporting members
Through Buddhist meditation we can cultivate a powerful mind of peace, which empowers us to navigate the challenges in our life. Inner Peace is an expression of our actual nature and our limitless potential. Abiding in this inner refuge gives the ability to skillfully accept painful emotions as they arise and then to transform them into powerful minds, such as wisdom and universal love.

NEXT SERIES
The Creative Act of Transforming Anger
Wanting things to be other than what they are can lead us to become angry. According to Buddha, anger is a deluded, unpeaceful mind that distorts our perception, causing us to exaggerate problems so that they feel unmanageable.
During this series, through talks and guided meditations, we will explore Buddha's transformative perspective and his illuminating and practical teachings on how to let go of anger. Putting these explanations into practice, our meditations will guide us to completely transform the energy of anger into a centered, skillful and creative response that opens us up to resolutions and new possibilities.

May 30: A New Way of Responding
June 6: Transforming Pain and Hurt
June 13: Responding Skillfully to Conflict
June 20: The Wisdom of Self-Acceptance
