New Series: From Worrier to Warrior
This series is taught by guest teacher Edwin Tubb

This class is offered in person only
$10 per class, free for supporting members
When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem. But, according to Buddha, whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind.
By reacting to the inevitable challenges and stresses of life with an anxious or negative mind we not only make matters worse, but also get stuck in a victim mentality – relating to ourself as a ‘worrier’ we can’t handle it, rather than a ‘warrior’ who can.
Through Buddhist meditation and wisdom we can flip the script and learn how to respond to difficulties with a peaceful or positive mind instead – skilfully letting go of stress and anxiety, and even transforming them into opportunities for growth and development.

The Power of Becoming Peaceful
Through Buddhist meditation we can cultivate a powerful mind of peace, which empowers us to navigate the challenges in our life. Inner Peace is an expression of our actual nature and our limitless potential. Abiding in this inner refuge gives the ability to skillfully accept painful emotions as they arise and then to transform them into powerful minds, such as wisdom and universal love.
