Shine Your Love
How the Meditation on Love Improves All Your Relationships
Love is the key to a happy and meaningful life. Which is why we want to make sure we are letting our love shine. The more we are able to love others purely, the happier we will be, and the more all of our relationships will be fulfilling. But what does loving others ‘purely’ mean? So often in our loving relationships we also experience pain and conflict. This pain isn’t coming from our love, but rather from our attachment, which generally leads to false expectations and an inability to see the other person’s point of view.
On this course we will learn to distinguish clearly between love and attachment, and see how we can skillfully use our relationships to increase the former while decreasing the latter. In particular Kadam Morten will teach and guide a profound meditation on love that naturally enables us to our hearts more fully to others so that we empathize with them and how they see things. This ancient practice, known as the radical exchange of self with others as taught by the great Buddhist master Shantideva, is exceedingly practical and has been helping people for centuries.
Everyone is welcome!
