Heruka Body Mandala Retreat*
The Yoga of the Three Purifications
In this brief half-day retreat we will focus on the first part of the Heruka Body Mandala practice, Essence of Vajrayana, which begins with a brief but extremely profound and beautiful practice known as The Yoga of the Three Purifications. While it is simple and brief, he Yoga of the Three Purifications is the essence of all the Highest Yoga Tantra practices of Generation Stage and Completion Stage. The focus of the retreat will be on gaining experience of the practice in meditation as well as guidance on how to carry the practice with us during our daily activities.
Please note: The sadhana that will be used for the retreat is “Essence of Vajrayana.” This prayer booklet can be found in the back of the second edition of the book by the same name. It is available for download from Tharpa here.
