Freedom from Painful Emotions
In this series will be focusing on how to use meditation to free ourselves from the painful emotions which cause our suffering. Buddha called these uncontrolled and painful states of mind the delusions. Through the practice of meditation we establish a basic inner peace and joy which gives us the confidence to begin to improve our mind.
In each session we will focus on how to deal with a particular delusion, among them, desirous attachment, anger, deluded pride, jealousy, and miserliness. Learning practical methods to reduce the power of these delusions will allow us to experience a deep and satisfying emotional freedom, and give us the skill to be the person we wish to be, positive, joyful, confident and loving.
