New Series: The Power of Meditative Concentration
Meditation is about much more than just achieving temporary relaxation and a bit of inner peace. It’s actually a powerful tool to bring about profound inner change. When applied correctly, meditation can enable us to develop inner strength (mindfulness) and inner stability (concentration). Improving our concentration in meditation naturally increases our experience of inner peace, happiness, and confidence, and also grows our efficacy in all other activities.
In this series, we will learn practical methods to deepen and stabilize our meditative experience through training in concentration. Each week, we will gather to meditate in community, share our experiences of the practice, and learn new methods to build together a structure that strengthens our experience of concentration. The intention of this series is to empower us to establish an effective meditation practice in which we can journey at our own pace through the different levels of meditative concentration. When applied correctly, meditation can enable us to release old anger and hurts, find freedom from anxiety, and cultivate a profoundly positive view of ourselves and our life, ultimately allowing us to actualize our highest potential.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners
General meditation classes are given as a series, but can also be taken individually
No special clothing is required
