Learning to Love Wisely

Love should feel good. Of course. It should feel wonderful. Yet often it can become a source of anxiety or disappointment. We are searching for love in the wrong places and in the wrong way. Perhaps we’re not even clear on what love is.

In this retreat – through teachings and guided mediation sessions – we will be engaging in an exploration of what love is, and what it means to love wisely. We will explore the difference between authentic love and attachment, understanding how love – grounded in a sincere wish for others to be happy and free – helps us cultivate our highest potential, and naturally brings a deeper sense of peace and happiness. Through this exploration of Buddha’s timeless insights on the real nature of love, we will learn how to cultivate an authentic experience of love that is stable, expansive, and rooted in wisdom.
