Eights Steps to Training the Mind

Why is it so hard to be and stay happy? According to Buddha, it’s not. In fact, it can be done in as few as 8 steps. What it requires is a drastic change in the way we view ourselves and others, as well as in how we respond to the conflicts and hardships that arise in our lives.

Based on the book Eight Steps to Happiness, this series will introduce us to the practice of lojong or training the mind. Each step will show us how to transform our mind from our regular self-orientated perspective into the loving, courageous and wise heart of a bodhisattva, a fearless person on the path to lasting happiness.
