Lynn: Always Simple, Always Changing

My first encounter with Kadampa was in a converted dance studio in Williamsburg. And I loved it! When I heard the teachings in class, my heart expanded in a million different directions.

I was asking endless questions each week, until my branch teacher told me, “You’ve gotta go meet other people who are also exploring these teachings more deeply.”

So I went to visit the Center and it was mind-blowing. To this day, it continues to blow my mind, every time I come here. I like that it’s still simple and yet always changing. I find that contrast to be very powerful because it reminds me of what we’re doing with our minds: being in an ever-changing moment.
