Three Public Talks in Three Days – Gen Menla’s 2024 Visit to NYC!
March 13, 2024
In early March, we had the pleasure of welcoming Gen Menla at KMC NYC for three public talks in three days at three locations across New York City – Harlem, Williamsburg and at our main Center in Chelsea. During his visit Gen Menla taught on the practice of patient acceptance, as presented in Venerable Geshe-la’s book, How to Solve Our Human Problems.
Gen Menla explained that through learning to respond to our suffering and problems with acceptance, we create the space in our mind to not only experience our suffering differently, but to also gain insight into its nature. In this way, our practice of patient acceptance becomes the foundation in our mind for experiencing true freedom.
Thank you Gen Menla for taking the time to visit us here in NYC. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
