All of us naturally possess a good heart and the ability to show compassion. Sadly, we cannot guarantee that these traits will always manifest in our day-to-day life. But we have it! It is our Buddha nature. By learning to nurture this beautiful inner truth we can increase our capacity to help and protect both ourself and others. In this way we can become a truly heroic being, a Buddha. Our world needs more Buddhas!
During this weekend event, Kadam Morten will grant the empowerment of 1000-Armed Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. An empowerment is a blissful guided meditation in which we make a strong connection with an enlightened Buddha and receive their powerful blessings. Kadam Morten will also give a commentary to the practice of Avalokiteshvara, in which we learn to harness the power of our imagination to quickly ripen our Buddha nature.
Everyone is welcome.
