Those with Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments are invited to engage in a Blissful Path retreat, the very blessed practice of Buddha Vajrayogini.

In each of the two sessions, Kadam Morten will give some explanation and guide a meditation on a different aspect of the practice. This retreat is essential for those wanting to deepen their familiarity and understanding of the essence of Vajrayogini Tantra and to further their personal practice.

During her stay, Kadam Lucy will guide a 3-week City Retreat on Refuge (open to everyone in person, and members online) and she will teach Kadam Morten`s Sunday and Monday General Program classes and three Saturday courses...plus more!

We had a wonderful weekend at KMC NYC!

On Saturday, many of our TTP and FP sangha came together for a teaching skills workshop. This included excellent teachings from various student teachers and lots of insightful teaching guidance from Kadam Morten and senior practitioners of our center.

Thanks to our excellent cooks, Tracy, Emmanuelle and Beth, we all enjoyed a delicious meal together in the break…

Over the weekend we also had the opportunity to celebrate Kadam Morten’s birthday….twice! This morning with our kids classes presenting him with a cake after GP class.

….and this afternoon, Kadam Matthew began his six-week Special Sunday Series, Wisdom Imagination and the Creation of the World, with many new faces joining us for class…

Thanks to everyone who joined us for an epic weekend :)

WISDOM IMAGINATION AND THE CREATION OF THE WORLD

In Buddhism, we say “everything is created by the mind” … but how?

How does this world, appearing so vividly, come from our mind? Can our beliefs really change reality? How does our imagination function? How can our conceptual minds help us on the path?

In this series, Kadam Matthew will guide a detailed exploration into the process through which our mind creates our world. Relying on Venerable Geshe Kelsang’s profound explanations in texts like Ocean of Nectar and How to Understand The Mind, we can gain deep confidence in the possibility of creating a world of freedom for ourselves and others. With this confidence, our Lamrim practice will come alive, our contemplations will touch our hearts, and we will attain realization in this life.

Everyone is welcome. Some experience of Kadam Dharma is encouraged, but a strong interest in Dharma and a willingness to study will suffice.
