Retaking the Bodhisattva Vow
Saturday, September 7, 10:30am - 1:30pm
Session 1: 10:30 - 11:45am, session 2: 12:15 - 1:30pm with optional Q&A
with Kadam Morten
In these two sessions, Kadam Morten will guide us through the meditations for retaking our Bodhisattva Vows based on methods taught in A Handbook for the Daily Practice of Bodhisattva and Tantric Vows.
This brief practice is designed to help us re-energize our Bodhisattva intention every day, directing us to a life that is joyful, meaningful, and compassionate. In this way we move ever closer to enlightenment.
In addition, Kadam Morten will be speaking in each session about the purpose and meaning of Dharma Festivals, and in particular what to expect from attending the Fall Festival in Arizona at the end of the month. Even if your Fall plans do not include the Festival, this explanation will prove useful, inspiring, and illuminating.
