Queens Buddhist Meditation Class
New Series: Healing Our Difficult Relationships
$10 per class, free for supporting members
We can feel vulnerable, hurt, and weakened by our relationships. December is the ideal time to reflect upon and learn to heal our difficult relationships. Our work together will set them up to flourish in the new year. Buddha said we suffer because we are misidentifying ourselves. In this series, we learn to love ourselves and others on the correct basis and let go of all the self-blame and blaming of others that takes us nowhere other than more pain. In Buddhism, forgiveness is about letting go of all the distorted and mistaken views about ourselves and others that keep us stuck and aligning our views through the lens of our infinite potential. Authentic love propels us to actualize the astounding potential within our mind and empowers us to become the joyful and beneficial person we wish to be.

MEDITATION IS FOR EVERYONE, JOIN US!
Meditation is about understanding and transforming our mind, shifting our mental state from negative to positive ones that cause true happiness. Meditation connects us to the extraordinary potential within our own mind. Through meditation we discover that our mind is vast, light, the very nature of peace and joy, and infinitely flexible. This discovery opens us up to a whole new perspective: We can change. We can heal. We can flourish from within and benefit all the people in our lives and beyond. Join us for a joyful exploration of the art of flourishing from a modern Buddhist perspective.
Meditation in Queens provides weekly in-person meditation classes in Long Island City and we seek to expand our offerings in the future to Sunnyside, Astoria, Jackson Heights and other neighborhoods of Queens through pop-ups and regular class offerings.
