Fundamentals of Buddhist Meditation

May 4 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Meditation is for everyone and anyone can do it right here, right now. But enjoying a five-minute meditation every now and then and developing a sustained practice are two very different things. The latter requires a firm foundation and the development of wisdom views that will give us what we need to sustain our practice. In Part I of the course you will learn the fundamentals of the Buddhist view and how they apply to meditation. You’ll learn how to build a meditation experience that brings joy and confidence, and that connects you with your potential to experience a deeper peace, happiness and inner freedom. In Part II you will learn meditation basics, the “nuts and bolts” of how to meditate and develop a practice that lasts.
