Becoming Our Best (and Happiest) Self through the Practice of the Six Perfections
We all want to be better people but how about making this the year we become our best self, both inner and outer? The path to enlightenment is not one of withdrawing from society but of engaging with the world in a meaningful way. Buddha explained the 6 perfections—giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, meditation and wisdom—as the most profound and practical way to do this. In these anxious times, by living mindfully through following the path of the 6 perfections we will bring benefit and happiness to the people we love, while simultaneously awakening our own limitless potential for change and palpable peace. Now that’s a resolution!
